The Creatures, Bronze Statue, 2024

The Creatures originate from the concept of combining two animals into one entity. Mythology describes many spirits, some look like us while others take a more animalistic appearance. The Creatures are gentle beholders of the natural world. They calmly meditate in a strong but peaceful pose, mimicking statues of religious importance. Hand sculpted from clay and produced as wax models for the lost wax process, these sculptures were casted entirely by Serena Allen-Szatkowski.
